APRIL SALAS

Co-Founder / CEO

April Salas brings nearly two decades of public and private sector experience in energy finance, power markets and energy reliability, sustainability, and new technology integration. April advises on climate, sustainability, and energy-related projects with companies leading the charge on sustainable innovation.

ETHAN GOLDMAN

Co-Founder / CTO

Ethan Goldman has been developing software for sustainability since 2001, developing systems to find and quantify energy efficiency and demand flexibility. He has worked with various electric utility industry clients, developing innovative analytics solutions using data from smart meters.

ENERGY FELLOWS

We train teams of college students to support individual communities in their climate action journeys.

Consulting Data Scientist

BEN PERKINS

Ben Perkins has over 10 years of experience with a variety of technologies, including Cisco-based networks, ITSM software, SQL queries, and Python. He graduated with a MS in Data Science from the top-ranked program at Indiana University Bloomington. Ben’s work so far has focused on machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques. He worked for several years at a major solar plant monitoring company.

DENA CIAMPA

Senior (Spring ‘22)

BA/MA program for Environmental Analysis & Policy/Energy & Environment.  Worked with POWER-D.city to investigate Brookline’s and other towns’ climate action plans and provide suggestions for areas of improvement.  Interested in green building and sustainable communities, particularly reducing emissions from the built environment and understanding the impacts of renovations versus new builds.

Junior (Spring '23)

Studying environmental analysis and policy with a minor in economics. Worked with POWER-D.city on data structure and GHG inventory best practices. Aspires to use data to inform effective sustainability decisions in business or public policy.

Senior (Spring '22)

In the BA/MS program for Environmental Analysis & Policy/ Energy & Environment. Identified missing links and structures in climate action plans to connect these plans to GHG calculations. Will be moving to NYC to work at Convergent Energy on energy storage projects in New York.
